Rachel + Rick I Sweet Malibu Wedding

Rachel and Rick had the sweetest little wedding set all over Malibu. Our Lady of Malibu, the church where they exchanged their vows and sealed their love was the same church Rick’s parents were married in over 40 years ago! Rachel is such a classic beauty, I and the camera equally loved taking pictures of her. Rick and his groomsmen kept the day lively with their jokes and smiles and rockin dancing later in the night. Rachel did an excellent job coordinating her day and choosing all the great details. I just loved all her flower arrangements and the greatest idea to have people write their wishes on vintage post cards. Rick’s brother just that morning widdled the two bird cake topper that sat above the most delectable red velvet cake, Mmmmmm. The sweet ceremony in the cutest little church was followed by the reception at Kristy’s. A quaint, fairly new, little restaurant that offered an intimate setting for Rachel and Rick to fill their bellies with great food and an outdoor patio to dance the night away. The greatest part was that the whole wedding party also was staying at the adjacent hotel, The Malibu Country Inn, so I can imagine the party lasted all night! Rachel and Rick, I had a great time photographing your wedding, it was touching, personal, fun and romantic. All the best to you both!

Chapman Family I Central Park Playa Vista

I met Amy, Jimmy and Ryan at my new go to park in Playa Vista. This park is situated in the apparent Phase III section of Playa Vista, which means it’s surrounding by nothing right now. It’s a little hidden gem with fun textures and landscaping and little ones always seem to find something to play with there. But enough about the park, let’s move on to the Chapmans. Amy was given a gift of a mini photography session as a bridesmaids present back when she was pregnant with Ryan. As what happens to all of us, time crept up with her and now Ryan is almost 1! But we were able to capture this fun time in Ryan’s life where he has just started walking. His facial expressions really got to me, I hope they make you smile as much as they did for me:-)

Here are just some of my favorites from the day:
