Kara and Jason are building their dreams on Wonderland Ave. I’m not speaking figuratively here, they are quite literally building their dream home on Wonderland Ave in the Hollywood Hills. Jason works double duty as an architect by day and home remodeler by night. Since this house is where Kara and Jason have chosen to deepen their roots, it’s only fitting that the rooftop deck was the location of their proposal. Naturally of course, the house is where we started their engagement session. As we sat on that very roof deck where they marked their commitment of love to each other, I got to know these two a little more. What I love about this couple is how mellow they are. They don’t have much planned yet for the wedding, but they are not stressed about it at all. They already know that the most important thing they are focusing on for their wedding is getting together the people they love most to not just witness their commitment of love, but maybe even more importantly, to have a serious party. Their mindset is focused not on the flowers or the colors for the day, but more so how long they’re going to make their soul train line on the dance floor. I love this couple! These two seriously light each other up. Over the few hours I spent with them, there were not only hearts in nature everywhere, but hearts circling around them. They look into each others eyes deeply, which sometimes melted their hearts and sometimes instigated child like giggling. I had so much fun with these two traversing the canyon, they are down for anything. And I seriously cannot wait to photograph their wedding in San Luis Obispo at the See Canyon Fruit Ranch and end it with a pub crawl through downtown. Yes, that is what I said, they are ending their wedding bash with a pub crawl through the city. I am in heaven.
