Sophia’s Senior Portrait

I have never done a senior portrait session before so I was thrilled when Sophia asked me to do hers! I photographed Sophia’s Quinceneara years ago, you can see that blog post HERE. We had a lot of fun trapsing around Temescal Gateway Park and later at Will Rogers State Beach.
It always warms my heart when I get to photograph these big life moments like when two friends become partners for life, when just a couple turns into a family, or when a teen turns into an adult. It is even more special when I get to document this journey in one family. With Sophia, I was able to document her quinceneara, a time when a girl becomes a woman and is celebrated. In this next photography session, I was able to document Sophia’s last step before adulthood, her last year as a student in High School! From here you will step out and see and experience a whole new world, it is truly an exciting time. I’m excited for you!

Gorgeous! I wish my senior portraits were on the beach instead of a stuffy studio.
